Picture this…
It’s 1971 and you’ve just returned home to your family from fighting in the Vietnam War. You have a baby on the way, and you have to do something to provide for your family.
That’s exactly what Carl Baney, our Founder, did. in 1971, Baney Construction was born. He used his skills to tackle anything in construction that came his way - roofing, siding, framing, you name it - Carl could do it.
Eventually…
he was able to specialize and focus on building custom homes across Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin. Tagging along beside him to learn the ropes, was his son, Shawn Baney.
Carl eventually passed the business down to Shawn and his son-in-law, Jeremiah. The next generation was determined to continue Carl’s legacy, but modernize and grow the business to what it is today.
Unfortunately,
Shawn passed away before he could see all his hardwork come to fruition, but we know he would be proud of the growth and legacy that Jeremiah and the rest of the Baney Team has created.
The company has grown and now has multiple locations across the U.S. We specialize in residential and commercial construction - specifically storm damage restoration, roofing, siding, gutters, and more.
We are incredibly proud of our legacy as a company, and work every day to pay homage to what Carl started.
After all, roofing is our tradition, but quality is our legacy.
